It was after the first debate of Obama and Romney. Romney mentions cutting PBS funds. The CEO of PBS was outraged to hear that the station has come under attack by polotics. She states that Romney believes PBS involves borrowing money from China to keep it running. PBS runs on private investors and donations from the public. Any money recieved by the government is inly about 445 million dollars whixh is 1/100th of 1% of the US budget.

This article clearly states the facts and lies from Romney. He belives cutting programs like PBS are going to save the economy. Programs like pbs are barely putting a dent on the us budget. Also, they don't need money from China since they get money from the public. It is not in taxes either, it is in donations. I believe that if people were to read this article, they would understand that Romney is just trying to save a buck by getting rid of programs we as the citizens need and that he lies and sticks to his lies even after being proven wrong. We don't need a better liar in office.
