This video has George Stephanopoulos with a table of 5 people who are Nicolle Wallace, Melody Barnes, Ann Coulter, Jorge Ramos and Robert Reich. The first thing that was brought up was Romney & the 47%. The republicans defending Romney states that it was just bad wording. The question and place were at the wrong time and how Romney responded was taken as an attack on normal people. In the end, they state that Romney's plan was to help the poor become stronger in finances while Obama's plan was hurting the poor and middle class. The democrats attacked Romney by saying he does not care for the 47% and he does not care for the poor. They state he will increase taxes and displayed a lack of caring for many americans and seniors. The next thing they talk about is the elections and who will win. The republicans state it is hard for Romney to get his word out because of the media presenting him as a bad guy to normal americans. The democrats state that Romney does not talk about the economy as much as he should have. The next thing was immigration. They state that Obama was not able to achieve anything for immigrants and deportations still happened but he supports the green act. Romney does not support the green act and wants more deportations. The republican states that immigrants and gays have no right to make this into a civil rights movement and take away that from African-Americans. She states that "we owe black people something because of years of slavery, immigrants haven't even been in this country". The defense states that most of us are descendants of immigrants except native americans. Making things difficult for immigrants and vetoing the dream act are what Romney is going to do. Another thing was that immigrants make up a large population of the work force for undesirable jobs. They pay taxes and make businesses to hire other people.
